This set of two colorized silver proof coins honoring Kylo RenT and Resilient ReyT represents the tenth and eleventh releases of the New Zealand Mint's incredibly popular collection of Chibi® series coins dedicated to the characters of Star WarsT. Symbolizing the dark light sides of The ForceT, the opposing duo was introduced to the Star Wars franchise in the 2015 film titled The Force Awakens. The appearance of each character is rendered in the Japanese art style of Chibi, which transforms recognizable personas into short and cute figures with exaggerated proportions and facial expressions. This 2021 Chibi Star Wars set is comprised of one Kylo Ren coin and one Resilient Rey coin. Each coin is expertly crafted from 1 Troy oz.

Each coin is uniquely character shaped, featuring an exquisite proof finish and spectacular color. The coin dedicated to Kylo Ren, the tenth release of the series, measures 29.20 x 36.00 mm. The eleventh series' release, measuring 25.84 x 36.00 mm, is an homage to Resilient Rey. The production of each coin is officially licensed by Lucasfilm Ltd.

The portrait, which first appeared on coinage in 1998, is an example of the artistry of acclaimed British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley.

Kylo Ren Reverse: Kylo Ren is depicted standing on the reverse, wearing a dark hooded cloak over a somber black belted outfit and an ominous grey and black face mask. Resilient Rey Reverse: Resilient Rey is illustrated standing on the reverse dressed in a draped sand-toned belted tunic and wrapped arm-bands. Her face is framed by wisps of hair that have loosened from her bun, as she gazes forward with wide, inquisitive eyes and a charming smile.
